KÖNIGSWINTER Light Sculpture

KÖNIGSWINTER Light Sculpture
Unique piece, Compagnons de Vie collection (2025)

KÖNIGSWINTER LIGHT SCULPTURE is a wall-mounted piece crafted from a historic amber-gold corrugated fibreglass panel. Originally used in industrial settings, the material has been shaped by decades of exposure to sun, wind, and snow, resulting in a rich, timeworn patina. A soft halo frames its warm glow, while two dimmers allow for adjustable lighting moods, evoking the shifting light of the seasons.

The KÖNIGSWINTER LIGHT SCULPTURE introduces warmth and texture to an interior, acting as both a sculptural object and a source of illumination. Its softly glowing panel, framed by a delicate halo, offering a meditative play of light and shadow whether dimmed to a gentle shimmer or brightened to a sunlit glow.

Designer Daniel Heilig spent five years sourcing the right material – historic amber-hued fibreglass panels shaped by time and the elements. Originally industrial, these surfaces now serve as canvases for light, their aged patina and soft translucency enhancing the way illumination interacts with form. Each KÖNIGSWINTER LIGHT SCULPTURE is formed from a painstakingly restored and adapted panel, with two dimmers allowing for a dynamic, evolving glow that responds to its surroundings.
